Picoloop, Nanoloop Induction Loops from Hearing Enhancement
Advancements in AFILS and mobile technology have allowed Hearing Enhancement to create a number of induction loops, products and
services to help the deaf and partially hearing. The NanoLoop and
PicoLoop are the first of a series of useful and innovative
communication products that work with any devices used by the deaf or partially
hearing which have an elecronic audio output, such as a mobile phone.
NanoLoop
The NanoLoop is one of the first in a series of
innovative induction (AFILS) loops designed by you using the
new ultra miniature loops antenna from Hearing
Enhancement. It can be used with most models of mobile phone.
PicoLoop
The PicoLoop is one of the first in a series of
innovative induction (AFILS) loops designed by you using the
new ultra miniature loop antenna from Hearing
Enhancement.
It has a clamshell design like many of todays
flip phones and can be hand held or clipped
to a pocket, or lapel, for hands-free use.
The NanoLoop is the larger of the two induction loops and the controls have been designed to be
particularly easy for stiff fingers to hold.
The PicoLoop has a clamshell design like many of today's 'flip phones'. It can
be clipped to a pocket or lapel for hands-free use.
Both loop products let you control the mobile phone by starting and ending calls or
changing the volume while you talk.
What you need to use a NanoLoop or PicoLoop AFILS :-
You must have a hearing aid that has a working T switch and a compatible digital
mobile phone. We have selected a number of mobile phones to go with the NanoLoop
and PicoLoop, so most hearing aid wearers will be able to have clear, understandable
telephone conversations wherever and whenever they want.
Our new induction system allows hearing aid wearers to enjoy the freedom of digital cell phones.
It features two unique new loop products coupled with a cellular service dedicated
to the hearing impaired. A world first developed with you, for you. While AFILS may not work for
every type of hearing impairment, for many people the improvement is dramatic, even life
changing
Our First Personal Service Offering! Our website launch coincides with that of our
new cellular service for deaf and partially hearing people. We have organised a
prolonged test market in the West Midlands between now and the end of the year. We
hope you will try it out because it has worked for some people with a 95db loss -
you have no commitment to buy, but if you like it and want to use it, we will be
more than happy to discuss your needs in detail.

They're ideal if you're away
from home and you want to tell someone you need help or are going to be late. And we
hope that being able to use phones will make it easier to do your job or run
your business.
